Andrews Village Ballina is a Community Based, Not for Profit
Organization with a vision:
"To Provide a high
quality of Aged Care Services"
The organization
originated from work by the parishioners and bequests to both the
Ballina Anglican and Presbyterian Churches.
The Organization is
registered under the companies (New South Wales) code, limited by
guarantee. St Andrews is also registered under the Charitable
Fundraising Act, No: CFN 10956 and is an approved Public Benevolent
Institution.
St Andrews provides care
to residents in a forty bed high care area, forty bed dementia specific
area and has a 14 bed general low care area. Residential care is also
available to retirees in the sixty self care units in the retirement
village located in Cherry Street Ballina.
The High Care and the
Dementia Specific area received three years accreditation from the Aged
Care Standards Agency in July 2000.
Our aim
is to administer to the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of
our residents, thus enabling them to live their lives to the fullest as
individuals and as independently as possible in an atmosphere of love,
peace and dignity.
